Metal shed kit flooring

Big smiles to get this project done. What you're looking at is a well organized shed. We plan to build some shelves to further help organize but this project was given a one day time limit.

We had to redo the floor. The kit was for an 8x10 she'd but because it wasn't exactly 8x10 our floor was a bit too big all the way around. Do, that lead to water sitting on the extra floor and doing some damage. We moved it, took out old floor, stabilized frame with even more support, got it back into position on the frame, and finally added the floor to the inside. Big thanks to the Mr as he worked on father's day to get this done.

I put together a basket of chocolate for my sweet dad and my father in law.  When it comes to men, I try to keep it simple and stick to something I know they like.

Staining the Deck

This was one project that didn't take long.

In the pictures, the railing has been stained. Currently the whole deck is stain but Texas is a wet one again so I couldn't get any good pictures of the deck now that it has been stained completely. 

I will post pictures of the deck just as soon as this rain passes. Till then y'all keep it green, clean, and classy.

Project Cottage

So we are working on building our new and bigger home. So far it doesn't look like much but it will soon-ish. Haha its still going to be tiny by American standards but it will fit us and our growing family perfectly.

Foliage Friday

Happy Friday:) have another foliage post for y'all. 

As you may have figured out these pictures were taken a while back, when we still had blue bonnets. I didn't get around to typing up and publishing the post but it's better late than never, right?

So, those pods are seed pods for the bluboannets. They look so much like peas.

These white "flowers" are a type of weed so they got pulled out after the photos were snapped.

 These stems, I guess that's what you call them, bloomed after the pictures but I never got around to photographing them. I really wish I had too because they were so pretty, but all gone now:/ well that's all for now. Till next time y'all keep it green, clean, and classy.

Iolaus gets buried :) in leaves

Isn't he just the cutest!?!

So, me and the Mr were cleaning up all the leaves and debris that we hadn't gotten around to yet and Iolaus was showing a lot of interest in the wheelbarrow... F.y.i wheelbarrow is not pronounced wheel barrel, it's a Texas thing I think. Anywho, he jumped right in with just one or two handfuls of leaves. Soon, there were enough leaves that he was slowly disappearing in the pile. He took it like a champ and Miss Bella got a little jealous but as you can see there wasn't room enough for two:)

This literally makes me love him even more, as if that were even possible.

He stayed there as we wheeled him around the yard, but eventually we had to kick his cute little rump out and get back to work. That's all for now but I'm really going to be trying much harder to get post up more frequently. Till next time y'all keep it green, clean, and classy.
