Refinishing wood stain

Refinishing a wooden rocker. The prep work is the hardest part and it's not hard. First if you are working with a previously stained wood you will need to remove or strip it. Then of course sand, sand, sand. Before y'all jump right into photo instructions I wanted to share baby Bella. She hates the cold so she has been laying out soaking up the sun and it's just the cutest thing. Goats don't sprawl out like this is nature. They sleep with their feet, haha I ment hooves, tucked under them.

Notice mr Sainic in the back watching his baby sister:)

Ok back to the chair.
The before
Pretty worn but still really sturdy.

One coat later. Stain is thin so you should always apply three coats as a minimum and more coats in high traffic areas.

The refinishing made the chair look so good that I now feel the need to make a seat cushion but with a million projects in the air I'm lacking the time and motivation :/ sigh :)
Till next time y'all keep it green, clean, and classy over the thanksgiving holiday.

Ps ... Did you know "ps" stands for post script
Pss ... Notice in the background past the chickens, even past the dog there is a little bit of our next project showing:)
