I have, finally, started organizing the Sud Shack. It's obviously been in use, haha. You gotta go. We were just so excited to get moved out to the homestead that the second we had running water we moved:) this meant that we were still building, well, everything.
So without further ado let's begin, again, this Sud Shack journey.
Y'all will notice the outside isn't even painted yet.
For the interior, I caulked all the seems because... why not, right? It doesn't take long, it isn't expensive, and it adds one more seal of protection against pest.
I had already painted one coat before the caulking. Usually, you would caulk first then apply at least three coats because sheet plywood soaks up the paint.
Our toilet is a dual flush. Which means it has two flush buttons, instead of one flush handle. The blue side uses just under a half gallon for your number one restroom break and the right side had the number two flush which uses more water but still under one gallon.
I still use the motto ...
If it's yellow, let it mellow
If it's brown, flush it down
We have well water for our toilet so this is drinking water that shouldn't just be flushed, you got to think about the livability of our planet. Conserve when possible.
I started the ceiling painting and the screen above the door still needs to be finished.
Ta da, the screening is finally complete and Mr framed the screen with more pallet wood.
Horray for doors:)
You can see the DIY gate we built in the background.
The ceiling looks so much better with paint.
