My last post on how to makeover a pair of shoes needs a slight update. I wore them literally all day on Saturday and ran them through laundry, gardening, running errands and being chased by my ducks so they showed their weakness, the glue.
The glue didn't hold and I really like the look of the tacks anyway so I added another pair of tacks to the outer middle portion and a solitary support tack on the inside. I only used one on the inside because I wanted the number of tacks to be divisible by three, weird I know but when possible I like using three:)
The shoes still worked without the extra tacks because my foot and gravity but better safe than sorry.
