DIY Plastic Container to Planter

Making some easy planters from plastic juice containers. I have previously given this tutorial so today's post will be a photo tutorial.

You will need -
Scissors
Plastic container(s)
Plastic spray paint
Something to punch holes in the bottom of the container with - I used a tool that comes in a tire repair kit.

Grab your containers and paint and head outside, you always need proper ventilation when working with paint, especially spray paint. Try not to get attacked by farm animals, this is hard to avoid:) paint them, then put your plants in.

Try to avoid purchasing items that come in individually wrapped packages, for instance granola breakfast bars. Make your own granola bars, they can be frozen too. So, make a huge batch that will last all week. Most of the wrappers on items like candy bars, breakfast bars etc. can be recycled, however they are made of mixed material plastic so they are often turned down at recycling units. It may seem like it's a small package but little things add up when nothing is ever done about it. Image that you walk in your house with your shoes own, leaving behind just a little dirt and dust but if you never swept your house would, rather quickly, become a solid dirt floor.

Keep it green, clean, and classy.
